Dear Mystical Nomad through Time and Space,
Travel has been an important aspect of my own spiritual and personal growth. Through travel, we learn to interact and engage, to listen and to learn, and to become part of an emerging whisper of paradigm-shifting dialogue.
Travel, movement, new immersion, and fluidity of thought and being is a lifestyle.
Every way of life is a temporary arrangement. Chicago, Los Angeles, Jackson Hole, California’s far north coast, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Cincinnati. Coffee shops, Farmers’ Markets, permaculture farms, environmental justice organizations, twice as an AmeriCorps service member, as a writer, as a community organizer, once as a playwright, and three times as a poet. I’ve installed state-funded solar panels for low-income homeowners in the Sierra Nevada mountains, organized corporate networking events for Minority Business Enterprises in Los Angeles, and assisted production activities for rap music videos in San Francisco. Adaptability, versatility, innovation, and autonomy are my strengths. Visit me on LinkedIn for a comprehensive professional CV.
Nomad Star Travel, LLC is a social enterprise. The objective is to nurture a healthy relationship between the Earth and human emotional wellness through recreation, adventure, and personal growth. Additionally, 10% of all profit will be directed toward the Condor Leadership Initiative, which will provide nature-based mindfulness practices for peer supporters within the substance abuse recovery community. The Condor Leadership Initiative is scheduled for a 2025 pilot.
Life can be an expansive journey of discovery when we are willing to say “yes” and open our hearts to receive adventure and abundance.
Adventure Gallery
My international travel has included backpacking in the South American countries of Columbia, Peru, Ecuador, Chile, and Argentina; backpacking in the European countries of Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Bosnia and Herzogovina; a two week adventure through Germany, Czech Republic, and Poland; a weekend in Guadalajara, and another weekend in Tijuana; and three separate adventures in the Canadian cities of Victoria, Vancouver, and Toronto. I’m beyond grateful for these experiences, and for the teachers and guides I’ve encountered along the way. It’s my service to help others hold space to create adventure in their own lives as well.
My formal education includes a BA in Communication and Culture from Indiana University; an MA in Interdisciplinary Social Science from Humboldt State University and a Masters of Metaphysics from the University of Metaphysics; and a PhD in Holistic Counseling from the University of Sedona. I have also received professional accreditation in Project Management through Sacramento State University, Positive Psychology through the University of Pittsburgh, and Life Coaching through Transformation Academy. As a lifelong learner, I will always find inspiration in exploring innovative approaches to personal growth and development.
