Spiritual Ecology Retreats
Friday, April 12-Sunday, April 14, 2024. Cumberland Falls State Park. “The Nourishing Earth.”
It’s mid-spring in Kentucky’s Hills of the Bluegrass eco-region. The beech, sugar maple, and oak are sprouting young green buds, and the rich scent of moist earth permeates the light breeze. The brief but powerful afternoon thunderstorm has subsided, and the atmosphere of the woodlands is glistening and vibrant with a magnetic hush of negatively charged ions. A roar of water tumbling over stone and fallen trees eclipses the bird song melody of the woodland. Sparkling sunlight casts a rainbow glow into the mist rising off Cumberland Falls. This is the moment that we form a new relationship with grace.
During this two night retreat, we will explore concepts of flow, impermanence, and acceptance, while practicing intuitive techniques to connect with water as a life force and as a symbolic idea. All Spiritual Ecology Retreat participants will receive 30 minutes of virtual counseling both prior to and following the retreat to leverage personal growth intentions. Dinner on Friday night, lunch on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday will be provided. Attendance is limited to 25. $475.
